February 9th, 2013 marks the date for the 5th BDay Breast Fest at the Hard Rock Cafe at Yonge and Dundas in Toronto. My birthday party/fundraiser/
My mother passed away in 2004 after a long battle with breast cancer. Now, I celebrate my birthday with the help of a great group of friends and family to raise money to help research and prevent cancer from impacting more people.
At the moment, we are looking at admission being $15, and we are looking at have a fun raffle as well (so if you would like to donate prizes let me know!)
Every single penny of proceeds will be donated to breast cancer research and treatments.
Last year’s event was amazing with 11 great performances, over 200 in attendance and we raised over $2500 to be combined with whatever we raise this time around and donated to The Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation.
Last year we introduced a new event called the Positive Cypher where audience members and performers got to spit some rhymes. It was fun, should we do it again?
